Our Excursions!

An afternoon at Cragside House! They have a huge waterwheel and beautiful gardens. The house is enormous and for the last one and a half centuries has been lit by their own hydro electric power station.

The views on the Tiittlington walk are amazing. You can see Glanton easily from the top and the long view is towards Scotland.

We walked the beach at Bamburgh castle. The castle is so old and awe inspiring, but the beach is incredible. The tide was out when we were there. So the beach went on forever.

The weather has been great for the last few days, sunny with a cool wind, not unlike Summer in Tassie. The sun is clear and burning.

More adventures in northern England!

We enjoy life at Glanton. Joy, Colin, Wendy and Evie venture to the big tree.

We enjoy lunch in the garden. Joy’s garden is spectacular.

Pirates have a stern time on Kate and Caleb’s front deck.

We have now returned to Africa.

 

Our first social occasion was a pork roast.
